Whether published, stored or shared, large amounts of images and videos currently reside on the Internet and are distributed via electronic means. Organizations are finding that controlling the flow of visual content is becoming a critical and time-consuming task. Text based filtering tools are proving unreliable for filtering images and protecting sensitive digital assets.
Image-Filter^TMautomates the analysis and filtering of visual content. Image-Filter^TM not only protects companies from unsolicited image files (e.g. X-rated), but also categorizes visual content using a scoring process that enables companies to block image files in accordance with pre-defined email and digital rights management guidelines.

TECHNOLOGY
System users can filter content in real-time with LTU’s Image-Filter^TM. First, the system analyzes an image or video dataflow, based on its visual features (shape, color, texture, etc). This dataflow is then translated into a digital signature (DNA), which is used to identify a variety of visual categories that must be monitored for protection purposes (i.e. adult content or sensitive corporate documents).
