Application for Membership

Ordinary Membership

Membership of euCognition is not confined to people already involved in EU-funded cognitive system projects. We welcome the involvement of anyone doing research in the many disciplines that address the issues of creating artificial cognitive systems, including (but not limited to) neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science, computer science, autonomous systems theory, cognitive robotics, and mathematical modelling.

To apply for membership, please read and complete the membership application form.

Student Membership

Persons enrolled in graduate degrees (e.g. Ph.D. or M.Sc.) in the area of cognitive systems and any of its constituent sub-disciplines may apply for student membership of the euCognition network.

Student membership differs from ordinary membership in 2 key ways:

  1. Student members are not obliged to make a formal contribution to the network;
  2. Student members are not eligible to submit Network Action proposals.

Student membership is restricted to graduate students working on cognitive systems theses, verified either by their supervisor (who must be a member of euCognition) or by another full member of euCognition (who must be familiar with the student's work).

To apply for membership, please read and complete the student membership application form.
