The cognitive robotics course uses the CRAM cognitive architecture (Cognitive Robot Abstract Machine) and ROS (Robot Operating System) on Ubuntu.

The CRAM Installation page states that the recommended setup is Ubuntu 18.04 with ROS Melodic.
